Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings & Deposits
Bookings are confirmed once a 50% deposit has been received. Remaining balances must be paid prior to or at the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed.
All bookings are subject to availability and approval following a meet and greet assessment.
2. Meet & Greets
A meet and greet may be required prior to confirming services. This allows us to ensure your pet is comfortable, suitable for the environment and a good fit for our care arrangements.
Meet and greets may take place at your home, our home or another agreed location.
3. Vaccinations & Preventative Care
All pets must be up to date with relevant vaccinations, flea treatments and worming prior to services commencing.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their pet is in good health and free from contagious illnesses.
We reserve the right to refuse care if a pet appears unwell, aggressive or unsafe.
4. Pet Behaviour & Safety
Owners must disclose any behavioural concerns, anxiety, aggression, medical conditions, escape tendencies or special care requirements prior to booking.
While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, Olive’s Pawfect Care cannot accept responsibility for incidents resulting from undisclosed behaviours or medical conditions.
For the safety of all pets, we may separate pets or decline services where necessary.
5. Veterinary Care & Emergencies
In the event of illness, injury or emergency, we will make reasonable attempts to contact the owner or emergency contact.
If urgent veterinary treatment is required, owners authorise Olive’s Pawfect Care to seek veterinary attention on behalf of their pet.
All veterinary expenses incurred during care remain the responsibility of the owner.
6. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change and will always do our best to be flexible where possible.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the booking start date may receive a refund of the deposit, less any applicable processing fees.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking may result in the deposit being non-refundable.
- Changes to booking dates are subject to availability.
- If Olive’s Pawfect Care needs to cancel a confirmed booking, any payments made will be refunded in full.
7. Drop Off, Pick Up & Transport
Owners are responsible for providing accurate drop off and pick up times.
Transport assistance, local drop offs, pick ups or airport transfers may be available by arrangement and may incur additional fees.
We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather or unforeseen circumstances.
8. Home Visits & Property Access
Where home visits or in-home services are provided, owners agree to provide safe and lawful access to the property.
Any requests such as bins, mail collection, basic property checks or small errands are provided as an additional courtesy service where agreed.
9. Photos & Social Media
From time to time, we may take photos or videos of pets during care for updates, marketing or social media purposes.
Please advise us in writing if you do not wish for your pet’s image to be used.
10. Liability
While all reasonable care and attention will be provided, Olive’s Pawfect Care is not liable for:
- illness, injury or death resulting from pre-existing medical conditions
- escape attempts or behaviour not previously disclosed
- damage caused by pets to property, belongings or other animals
- unforeseen incidents beyond reasonable control
Owners remain responsible for any costs arising from damage or injury caused by their pet.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking and making payment, owners acknowledge they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
